Is Dallas a Major Player In Fashion Trends?

Whether it’s 80s maximalism, 90s aesthetic vibes, or the latest high-end brands, Dallas residents are seemingly captivated by fashion.

A new study from RushOrderTees analyzed Google search volumes across all 50 states and the 249 most populated cities in America for fashion-related keywords to identify which cities are the most interested in specific fashion trends.

Dallas ranked 23rd nationally among cities, while Texas ranked ranked 12th among all states. The top Googled trends in Dallas included 80s fashion, 90s fashion, and top brands including Prada, Loewe, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Versace, Balenciaga, and Valentino. The top fashion obsessed city was Miami, followed by Atlanta and Orlando in the top three.

Mike Nemeroff, CEO and Co-Founder of RushOrderTees, said, “It’s fascinating to see how fashion interest varies from city to city across the US. All of these 80’s and 90’s iconic looks are majorly resurfacing, proving how these decades revolutionized the fashion industry and continue to inspire us today. Just take a peek at your TikTok FYP or Instagram feed and you’ll probably see all your favorite celebs (and influencers) wearing these throwback looks. There’s no doubt about it: ’80’s and 90’s fashion trends are hot right now. “
